FAQ
What is
a CD business card?
It is a business card sized CDROM, replicated the same way and with
the same quality materials of a standard CDROM.
How does
it work if it isn't round?
The card fits in the inner tray of a standard CDROM.
How much
information can the card hold?
The CD Business Card holds approx 50 MB
What does that translate into?
The 50 MB CD Business Card holds a minimum of 3 ½ minutes of video.
We have seen as much as 100 minutes of interactive presentation in
50 MB.
Why the
variation in time of content?
It depends on what the client desires and in what format the
information is presented. The minimum time is based on full
video e.g. a movie clip or TV commercial. The maximum time is
based on an interactive presentation in Shockwave Flash.
Can the
content be text based?
Yes, if that is what the client desires. For example, if a
client wishes to distribute a training manual to a large group, then
this text could be placed on a CD-card and mailed
to each person in a very cost-effective manner.
What
information may I supply for
the art and content?
This is entirely up to you the client. You can submit material
in virtually any format. From as little information as
"here is my current business card and my brochure", to as
much as "here is my art in PhotoShop and my complete video in
Shockwave." I want
to produce the art and content "in house".

What are
the minimum requirements of a computer for the performance of the
CD-card?
It depends on the programming. Generally speaking this card is
for the PC. If the PC has a CDROM drive and Windows 95, 98 or
NT it will work.
What is
the manufacturing lead-time?
It is three to four weeks.
What is
the total production time?
From order placement to delivery - two weeks (We have produced cards
for businesses in a few days).
Are
the cards scratch resistant?
Yes. The same is true with most CDs.
