Employee Recognition
This section is to introduce new employees and to
commend fellow employees on work well achieved.
Some comments may be silly. Picture this, its 4pm, you
call your appointments for the next day to
confirm that they are still coming in. Go Home. It’s 8am the next
day-you come in to work with a full
night’s rest-just raring to go. You make a pot of coffee, check the
messages, start going through your mail in your mailbox, la de da,
everything is going smooth, by this time everyone has arrived and has
gotten a cup of coffee...then BOOM!! All the lines on the phone start
ringing consistently, The first appointment comes walking in-you look at
the coffee pot, uh, oh, a new pot needs to be made, you go to show them to
the appropriate person-go to make a fresh pot but WAIT...what do you see,
what do you smell...a fresh pot half way done brewing. Now to me, that
makes my day. You look to that employee and say “Thanks, Thanks a lot”.
The client has not even been here for two minutes and I’m walking him in
a cup of fresh brewed coffee whereas he would have had to wait for maybe
five minutes if I had to go make it.
And what these comments will show you is that we are a
team and we will go that extra step whether
it’s a minor or major one not just for each other but for you, our
client.
